Shadowboxer

This series captures the essence of shadowboxing—movement suspended between light and dark. Using charcoal, chalk, and deep black pigment as well as titanium white acrylic, I explore the fluid interplay of breath and motion, where lines and curves weave in and out allowing the movement to extend beyond their boundaries.

Each mark is a gesture of tension and release, echoing the rhythm of inhalation and exhalation. Shadows fold into light, forms dissolve and reappear, creating a visual sparring match on canvas.
